Use and user experience

How old do you have to be to play?

Our solutions are accessible from the age of 3! There’s no maximum age, it’s for everyone (depending on the age limits set by the venue).

Can you climb in shoes or socks?

Of course you can! Your visitors can climb without slippers. The plugs detect even better!

Do climbers need to be roped up?

Unless you’d like to use our height sockets, there’s no need. All our solutions are no more than 3.5 m high.

What level of climbing do you need?

Our solutions are for everyone! On the Gaming Board and EduClimb, you can select the level of your choice. Young and old alike can challenge themselves.

Do I need a carpet?

Yes, it’s compulsory. If you don’t have one, we can provide you with one.

Do I need a staff to manage the players?

All these solutions are completely self-sufficient. If roping up is necessary, a certified staff member is required.

Installation and technical requirements

How do your plugs work?

Our touch and light sockets are unique. A light touch is all it takes to be detected. On the back of each socket, an electronic board communicates with the socket through the wall.

What wall do I need?

A certified climbing wall made of non-conductive material (18mm thick wood) is required.

I already have a wall, can I add them to it?

Our sockets have a universal design that allows them to be installed on most walls! See the next question for requirements.

What do I need to make the solution work for me?

Here’s what you’ll need:

A climbing wall (non-conductive material – maximum 25mm thick)
A minimum space of 60 cm behind the wall with access
A place out of direct sunlight
A 220V/10A electrical outlet (conventional socket)
For Gaming Board and EduClimb: a wired Internet connection

Is it easy to install?

Yes, you can even do it yourself! Each solution comes with a manual showing you the steps to follow.

Rest assured, we can also install it for you.

Can you help me integrate your solutions?

Of course you can! We can advise you on the best place and how to propose it.

How long does it take to install?

1 to 3 days on average, depending on the size of the project.

What surface area do I need?

This requirement will vary depending on the solution:

Wall surface :

FUN: It depends on the size of the project
FUN+ : From 9m² to 15m²
Gaming Board & Educlimb: From 7m² to 18m² on the wall

Floor area :

Gaming Board & Educlimb: From 15m² to 23m² floor area

Do I need a lot of height?

Not necessarily! We can offer solutions from 2m50 high (2m40 wall and 10cm carpet).

Does it work outdoors?

Yes, we also have outdoor versions. However, these must be installed under permanent shelter.

Purchase, delivery and guarantees

Do I have to pay a monthly/annual license fee?

For FUN and FUN+ products, no license is required.

Only Gaming Board and EduClimb are available with annual licenses.

What are the advantages of licensing?

Licenses offer several advantages:

Access to the complete game catalog, new features and functions
Access to usage statistics and online settings
A training program (operation & maintenance)
Remote monitoring to ensure smooth operation
Online after-sales service for remote maintenance

What about maintenance?

Good news: there’s very little maintenance involved! You’ll be provided with a document outlining the correct steps to take.

What is the warranty?

There’s a 2-year warranty.

How quickly can I expect delivery?

We can deliver in as little as 3 weeks, depending on stock! If you want a structure, the minimum is 9 weeks.

Are these plugs Made in France?

Yes, our plugs are made by VOLX, on our site in the Lyon region.

Do you offer leasing payment solutions?

Yes, you can opt for an 18- to 60-month leasing solution with purchase option.

FUN

What's it for?

FUN holds are a fun way to discover climbing. Beginner climbers are absorbed by their interactivity and can forget their fear of heights!

How does it work?

There are 4 different scenarios. A scenario is selected beforehand when ordering. After each touch, the socket is reset within a timeframe we define together.

How do I calculate the number of sockets I need?

To make this activity accessible to all, base it on 3 holds per m² of wall.

Do you offer quantity discounts?

That’s right! The minimum order is 30 plugs.

Here are the discounts:

+100 plugs = 5%.
+300 plugs = 10%.
+500 plugs = 12

FUN+

What's it for?

FUN+ is an interactive climbing system with mini-games.

Extremely easy to use, you can offer different games at different times of the year to renew your visitors’ experience.

The kit includes 30 interactive sockets, a score counter, a timer, an audio module and a game.

How does it work?

It’s so easy! Just press the Start button to launch the mini-game.

What's the difference with FUN?

The experience is much more gamified and immersive. The mini-games are more advanced, and it’s possible to challenge yourself with notions of time and points.

What kind of games do you play?

Our games are based on observation, speed and reflection.

How many games do you have?

We currently have 7! New games are coming soon, so please be patient.

How long does a game last?

The duration is 1 minute. We can modify this time to suit your needs.

How do I change the game?

To change game, simply follow the tutorial here. The changeover is only possible by room staff and takes about 5 minutes (a passage behind the wall is necessary).

Can more than one player play?

That’s right! You can play together and cooperate, and we also have a game for playing against each other.

Can we add more sockets?

The maximum is 30 sockets on this product. Don’t hesitate to multiply FUN+ zones with several sets!

GAMING BOARD

What's it for?

It’s a compact climbing wall on which you can play games. Featuring tactile and illuminated holds, it’s fun for everyone from 3 to 99!

Compatible with existing climbing walls.

How does it work?

Thanks to the 4 sockets on the side, players can select their game, level and mode and start the game on their own.

How many games do you have?

We have an evolving catalog of 12 games, with new ones being created every year.

How long does a game last?

On a standard Gaming Board, a game lasts 1min, compared with 1min30 on an XL.

You can change this to suit your needs.

Can more than one player play?

That’s right! Thanks to our COOP and VERSUS modes, you can play together or challenge each other! You can play with up to 4 players.

EDUCLIMB

What's it for?

The EduClimb is a compact climbing wall featuring interactive blocks on 4 levels. You can have as many boulders as you like on a 9m² to 15m² climbing surface.

How does it work?

The 4 holds on the side correspond to a level. For example, press the Easy grip 3 times to climb the 3rd block in the EASY series.

What are the block levels?

Easy, Medium, Difficult, Extreme.

How many blocks are available?

You’re the boss! We offer 40 pre-recorded blocks, but you can add as many as you like.

Is it possible to create or modify routes?

Yes, there are 2 ways to proceed:

With touch-sensitive sockets, simply double-tap the sockets you want to switch on or off.
On the supplied tablet: add and modify with ease.
